Welcome to Hot Face Yoga

I'm Vineetha Menon, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. A singer and a yogi with a background in corporate banking, I’ve spent over 10 years running a thriving yoga studio, where I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of yoga and pilates for physical health. Now, as I embrace my 50s, I’ve become acutely aware of the importance of caring for not just our bodies but also the muscles of our faces.

How I found Face Yoga

As I entered my 50s, I noticed changes in my facial muscles that sparked my curiosity.  I realized that while we routinely exercise our bodies, we often neglect the muscles that shape our faces.

 

Eager to explore this further, I embarked on a journey to educate myself about face yoga. After completing my face yoga Master certification (accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) and practicing face yoga  I’ve experienced incredible results—enhanced muscle tone, improved skin texture, diminished dark circles, and a renewed sense of well-being.

Another welcome side effect is that doing face yoga helps me sing better!

Coming into my 50s also made me think deeply on how society, and we ourselves, views aging. Instead of recognizing it as a natural and beautiful progression, there's a tremendous pressure to conform to anti-aging ideals, often chasing the illusion of perpetual youth at all costs. This focus can drive many to invasive surgeries and quick-fix solutions, creating a culture of fear around the aging process.

 

However, what if we shifted our perspective on aging? Rather than resisting the inevitable passage of time, what if we embraced it as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery? At any stage of life, we have the power to strengthen not only our faces and bodies but also our minds, hearts, and spirits. 

 

By intentionally engaging in practices that uplift and empower us, we can cultivate our inner and outer beauty. This holistic approach allows us to embrace the changes that come with age, fostering confidence and grace at every stage of life.

And so the Hot Face Yoga I bring to you is more than a face workout. It is a holistic approach that encourages self love & emotional wellbeing combined with natural rejuvenation techniques of face exercises, face massage and more.

 

I’m so excited to share the benefits of face yoga with you. Join me in class at my studio Yoga Wild in Oceanside, where we’ll cultivate self love  while strengthening, lifting, and nourishish our facial muscles together. I can’t wait to welcome you to this transformative practice!
